Sunday saw the Captain's Greensomes competition played in some of the worst weather conditions we've seen this year, with heavy rain, hail stones and strong winds. In fact it was probably the worst we've seen since the club championship held back in July - although at least on Sunday conditions did improve and many of the teams successfully completed 18 holes. All players should be congratulated for supporting the competition in such poor conditions.
The competition also saw nearest the pin on the 9th go to David Braithwaite - with a hole in 1! Well done David. Full results are:
