A very fun, tidy and exposed links golf course. Firstly, the condition of the course was fantastic. Although some of the bunkers were very wet and heavy (expected with how much rain there’s been!), tee to green was otherwise a delight to play. The wind was particularly strong but took nothing away from the fun we had on this proper links course. There was a range, pro shop and clubhouse. The clubhouse was a warm and welcoming for a pint after being windswept for 4 hours. Good variety of beers on draught. Overall, stunning setting for a golf course, with lots of variety between holes.

First time playing Links…. Wow, what a great day. It’s was very warm with only 20 mph winds . So wasn’t really challenging as Links should be. Nevertheless, the course was brilliant and spent way too much in the pro shop. Gotta come back when it’s cooler softer and windy to get a full experience.

December winter golf round. Most courses in Essex were flooded and shut. Rearranged a four ball here. Clubhouse team were very accommodating. Great breakfast bap. Greens were all in fantastic condition. Course in great condition considering all the recent heavy rain. Fish’s and chips were superb. Will def return in warmer months! Lovely links course. If you miss greens on the wrong side will challenge your short game.
